Job Description:

    Sales Officer - Current Account.

    Job Role & Responsibilities:
    Source high- end business accounts & generate fee income for a particular branch
    Acquire & Manage Current Account Portfolios of the Branch for incremental value
    Follow KYC norms (Know Your Customer) to verify an identity of the customer and obtain information on the purpose and intended nature of the business relationship

    Deliverables:
    Manage the portfolio of the clients
    Manage customer relationships & address both service & sales queries for customers with an objective to engage & retain customers
    Provide banking product related advisory services to customers as per their suitability and requirement
    Source 2-3 current accounts through his catchment and lead by example to his sales team
    Ensure collection of documents by Sales Officers from the clients like Proprietorship, Partnership, Private Limited, Limited to know the nature of business of the customer
    Sourcing Trade, Forex customers & thereby generating fee-based income
    Meeting existing customers to generate business opportunities thereby generating revenue for the Bank
    Identify new segments & set up new trade verticals for prospective business opportunities at different locations/regions new to the bank
    Recommend & introduce new services e.g. Cash management services, treasury etc. with an objective to engage customers & generate fee income
    Handle Trade based queries from the Branch & increase revenue by smoothening transactions process by proactive liaison with other departments
    Provide training to a team on regular basis about KYC norms, Customer identification, customer profiling and requirement of the customer
    Skills and Competencies:
    Knowledge and understanding of the product.

    An applicant with relevant Banking experience will be preferred.
